Re-Silicon Services are intended to restore the integrity and strength of existing sealing joints in a building’s exterior, without the need for complete replacement. At YOGEETA BUILDING MAINTENANCE, we provide re-silicon solutions that are designed specifically to enhance the durability and aesthetics of the glass joints and the points of connection for panel connections on glass facades. Our process starts with cleaning and preparing the existing surface prior to applying a high-performance silicone to provide additional support to the existing sealing and to ensure the proper bond between the new silicone and the existing surfaces. This service is best suited for buildings with a low level of performance (weak sealant) where full removal of the existing sealant is not necessary.
